JESUS IS THE WAY!

Acts 4:12"... for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved."

Pity the Bible teller of truth

Pity the Bible truth teller

I don’t get paid, just commissioned,  I’m not a professional. Sort of like prophets from the Old Testament, Peter, Paul, and of course Jesus.  So why should I have the truth?  I am only a student of the word, a disciple of Christ.  I am sure devils, angels, sinners, and saints need encouragement.  Thank you preachers who encourage. we are the world salutes you

.  But what about Bible tellers of truth are to do to find encouragement?  Well I guess reading of the word of God and praying would be the answer.  You see throughout the scripture we are told to judge righteous judgment, to test the spirit, by their fruits we shall know them, and not even to invite them into our house.  What does we are the world retort?

Matthew 7:1-6
1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

Like every other preacher you should judge me by the word.  Like the noble breathren in Berea.

Acts 17:10-15

10 And the brethren immediately sent away Paul and Silas by night unto Berea: who coming thither went into the synagogue of the Jews. 11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

The Bible teller of truth is frustrated, is this only scripture they know, (judge not lets thou be judged)  how lame they may be.  You see we must pray for our pastor daily.  For a great portion of his flock are the we are the world, we are his children crowd.  The Bible teller of truth wonders to himself who’s children?  You see my friends from the friendship directory of the church I attend, Salvation is a supernatural work.  We do not accept the Lord, the Lord accepts us. And what if the Bible teller of truth gets that mote out of his eye and sees clearly.  The Bible teller of truth sees a lost and dieing world. And you must die to your self as with Paul when he says, I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily

So then, how are we saved?

One of the biggest fallacies in today’s church

Think just because you said the sinner’s prayer once in your life you have Salvation

It is not - Hocus pocus,  or a special incantation

I don't think you would understand most of this website unless you do Salvation 101

Romans 10:9
9That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.

 1 Corinthians 2:14
But the natural man received not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 Corinthians 2:13-15 (in Context) 1 Corinthians 2 (Whole Chapter)  In the immortal words of Mr. T.  "Get saved fool!."   Accept the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart today!  Hearing less and less of that good news in today’s church..  So get saved from what?  Did you know there is a real heaven to gain and a real hell to shun.

does anybody want to talk of holiness?

Everybody wants to go to heaven, nobody wants to get saved
Everybody wants to be religious nobody wants to talk about holiness
Everybody wants to play church, not everybody wants to follow Jesus
Not everybody is going to heaven, not everybody is going to be saved
For straight is the way, narrow is the path, and few there will be that find it

Why am I the oddball that proclaims, Jesus is the way
Why not the whole Christian body boldly proclaim the Name
What a wonderful name the name of Jesus
Let the world proclaim
What a lovely Name
Sweeter then the honey is that Name above all others
What a lovely name
Let the world proclaim

Every body wants to be an American Idol
No body wants to be a Holy Joe

To the tune country boy

Holy Joe

People say I am no good, crazy as a loon
Cause I talk about Jesus goodness
In the morning, noon, and afternoon
Kind of like my old leather Bible, it never gets dusty over there
Like to shake that sword and do some awesome war
And you know I have never been called a bore

There isn’t nothing like trusting the Lord
Waiting for Him for all your needs
If you don’t like the way I’m preaching
Just get down and change your ways

Preacher man, that’s what I am
Cause I’m so worried about your soul
Be careful about wasting your time watching them TV shows
Jesus said watch that eye gate, you be careful about your soul
Just think about lovely, and fine things, you’re guaranteed you’ll win

NEWSFLASH

I have some terrific news!  If we can submit to authority, we'll have a lot less issues, no kidding!

Genesis 3:1-5

1 Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, "Has God indeed said, 'You shall not eat of every tree of the garden'?" 2 And the woman said to the serpent, "We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, 'You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.' " 4 Then the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

So the woman was Beguiled, fooled.  The man was not. Henceforth, he is now the head of the family. So we have the knowledge because Adam relented and took the apple.  Just think, if we left well enough alone, we would of had paridise.  But oh no,  had to go with the wifeypoo.

Anyway,  we now have knowledge and lots of it.  Shall we disregard the knowledge now that we have it?  Shall we not use the computer and it’s resources because it has to be monitored?   The computer is a good tool to have.  We need all the help we can get now days.  The television can be disregarded.   Have to control the computer, and not have the computer control us, correctomendo?

The computer happens to be one of the trees of knowledge.  It is here and it has to be dealt with.  Sorry, we done messed up at the garden. We have to deal with these stubburn Kingman weeds that seemly need no water.  Women are the ones that have babies, they can handle the pain.  If men had to have babies the birthrate would go to zero.  Have I talked about the headship of man?  We are cursed, so sorry.

The good news is"Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us; for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree: that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith." Galations 3;13,14.

I think Dr. Michael Youssef  said, Back in the Garden of Eden, Satan asked a very simple, yet damning question when he asked Adam and Eve, "Did God really say that?" With this one inquiry, Satan cast doubt on God and eventually neutralized what God had said to Adam and Eve in the Garden.

And so it goes today; Satan neutralizes the power of the Word of God by the mantras of postmodern thinking: "Truth is relative." "Morality is obsolete." "Authority as a concept is passé" "Honesty is for fools." "The pursuit of truth is meaningless."

Do any of these sound familiar? Beloved, we are dogged with postmodern thinking… with Satan’s deception… every day. It is endless, from the moment we wake up to the time we go to bed!

It's in the movies we see… the TV shows we watch… the internet we surf… the books we read… the words teachers teach… and (most sadly) even in some of the sermons we hear preached.

There is no way on God's earth that two hours of church one day a week are going to neutralize the impact our postmodern culture has upon you.

Think about it. The Bible makes it clear that Satan bombarded Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden with continuous doubt about the words of God. And eventually, Eve got weary, threw in the towel and gave in.

So many in the church react to Satan’s bombardment the same way. And I desperately want you to avoid this same reaction! That’s why I want to challenge you to ingest the truth of the Word of God on a daily basis.

God tells us in Proverbs 14:12, "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." Did you see that? Man's postmodern way of thinking leads only to death.

I want to make you a promise. It's not just a promise based upon my own experience over the course of almost 30 years, but upon the testimonies of thousands upon thousands of people:

If you make the decision to read, study and obey the Word of God on a daily basis, it will change you. And it will change you for good!

I pray you will make a daily commitment to spend time in God’s Word. Trust me, it will bless you in ways you never thought possible! Your life will be radically changed as you make the truth of God's Word your daily diet

Homemade...It's better

Tim's home made preaching

If John the Baptist had a wife, would she be called Pondwife?

Forget about the women keeping silence in the church...what about the men? The sound of crickets comes to mind. A good snack for John by the way.

Where is it in the Bible that says you have to build a church to preach the gospel?

Is it go ye unto all the world, become ordained to a specific brand, build a church, join a denomination, preach sermonettes to Christianettes who smoke cigarettes.

Everybody should preach the gospel. My website is all over major search engines, I get hits places I've never heard from. Still cannot preach for you you know.

Don't get me wrong, I love our church building, and Pastors. Hopefully, I pray they'll have the liberty to preach the Word without fear or favour. But the Timbo still thinks, homemade is better.

Remember, Jesus was not arrogant when He said,

John 15:4 KJV
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

• 1 Corinthians 18.
• For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God

John the Baptist.

You know, I don’t see John the Baptist with great oratory skills. But you know what? He had a message. His message was truth. And he proclaimed it with gusto.

I don’t care if the truth is being told by somebody with grasshopper legs coming out of his teeth. I don’t see John the Baptist is the latest best attire. But he had this urgency about him. He was on fire, and when you’re on fire people come to see you burn.

John the Baptist did not know every thing. But he walked in as much light as he was able. He even asked if Jesus if He was the Messiah.

Sometimes I wonder if President Elect B.O. thinks he is one.

All I know for certain is that Jesus is the way. To proclaim the cross, the whole console of God. I can see that is the job of a herald.

Don’t pretend to understand most of the book of Revelation. What I understand is what’s reveled to me. I believe the cross. This message might not pack a basket ball arena, but who said the truth was popular?

John the Baptist is the very essence of the definition of preaching

The Crowd or the Cross

He walks with me and He Talks with me and tells me I am His own.

When I am on my way to work, Facing the desert sunset towards Las Vegas .  God comes to me.  Alone with God, facing the beautiful desert landscape with natures hardiest of God’s thorny creatures.  The hue orange rays giving off of the setting orange sun to the barren desert below.  God comes to me.  God communes with me, through His Son Jesus Christ, Lord of Lords. I have calm assurance this world just cannot give and cannot take away from me.  2008 has been a tough year, yet it was a piece of cake.

Heard there is this new green Bible out now with recycled paper and God’s beautiful creation outlined.  Hey, if this package helps you read more scripture.  No problem with it.  The depravity of man is still an issue, we still need a Savior.

My wife relays me a message.  A desperate housewife interrupts a sermon.  She states, “I have survived cancer, and my house is just leveled by a tornado.  Where is God if He is so good?

My 3 year-old, $300 dollar bathtub faucet has just died, leaking.  The True Value sales person is trying to tell me this is normal.  We are without water for almost a week.  Made me think of a sermon our preacher preached.  16% of the earth’s population has by bear necessity has only one light bulb and one toilet. The rest of the earth’s population does not have this luxury.  Prosperity is always relative isn’t it?

So the desperate housewife is upset with the half million dollar house in a prime neighborhood being leveled. She has survived Cancer…she is a survivor.   It all comes down to what we think we deserve doesn’t it?  There is only one answer to this dilemma.

Mankind needs a Savior.  His name I Jesus, come to save the world from its sins.   The crowd is looking to a Savior.  Could it be Democrat, Republican?  The word is in turmoil, but there is Peace that this old world can’t give in this cruel and harsh world.  Jesus Christ is the answer my friends.  Got to be reminded of this daily les we forget.

·                     Luke 19:10 KJV

For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost .

I shall try not to take to much of your valuable time but.

Are there any wretched out there in today's world?

A desperate housewife pops up and interrupts a sermon in the middle of a church service and asks.  If God is here, why did I get cancer and a tornado leveled my home?  I did not see the particular episode, my wife told me of the despot.

It all comes down to the age old questions, if God is so good, why can't I get my locker opened, or why does bad things happen to good  people.  So don’t bother interrupting your Preacher in the middle of service because the answer is obvious.  Good for the desperate, preacher probably wasn't’t doing his job anyway.

Romans3:10As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

What do the despots deserve?  We don’t really deserve anything.  Hard to find anybody, who considers oneself a despot-wrench anymore. All we know the song Amazing Grace. Is this song for today?  We have positive preachers,  counselor, and self help books. Today’s devil seems to be low self esteem.   Are there any wrenches in today’s society?

The T.V. Guide or the Bible? We report you decide

No need in hooking up   to cable TV in our humble home.  Have enough sewer lines to our little sanctuary.  Watch TV at work and there is nothing to really for me or my family to watch.  The news is most certainly compromised, sensationalized, prioritized,... did I mention homogenized, pasterized. And besides, it's depressing.  Only so much negativity  one can handle don't you think?  As for the sports, I am blessed not to be too interested.

I like to use the words of Jesus as He preached against television. Okay, perhaps He wasn't thinking of our boob tubes we waist so much time on.  But think of it, is the cable TV helping you live a victorious life in Jesus Christ?

Mt 17:9

"And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man..." or as I say, "television to no man."

Think it is weird to use scripture in such a way?  Want something weirder?  Don't get me wrong.  I believe in prosperity, Prosperity is better then poverty.  But what about the Multimillionaire Televangelist preach the cotton candy gospel.  We know the Love of money is the root of evil.  Money isn't evil in itself of course.  You know Jack Hyles  used to say the gospel is free but the pluming cost. But you know Jack Hyles was a humble man who walked the walk.

Some may wonder why I am agitated by televangelists.   It is because they are portraying a picture of greed to the unsaved world and at the same time thinking they are selling the idea of Christianity.  Instead, they promote shame and disgust.

As a Christian, we must remember that we are a constant advertisement for or against Christ because of the way we conduct our life.  It's no use testifying to every one we meet IF our life doesn't back up our talk.

1 Thes. 2:10 (nkjv), "You are witnesses, and God also, how devoutly and justly and blamelessly we behaved ourselves among you who believe."  Folks, claiming to be a Christian is serious business - the world is watching us.

Preaching also suffers because, in fulfillment of Paul's prophetic warning, the time has come "when they will not endure sound doctrine; but wanting to have their ears tickled, they will accumulate for themselves teachers in accordance to their own desires, and will turn away their ears from the truth, and will turn aside to myths" (2 Tim. 4:3-4). People don't want biblical preaching and, sadly, few are willing to buck the tide of popular sentiment.

Paul identifies the problem. People will develop a distaste for "sound doctrine," insisting that it is either irrelevant (“who cares what you believe, just as long as you live right”) or disruptive (“I don't like being told to repent of sins or hearing about hell, etc.”), or divisive (“people will take sides on controversial issues and split our church!”).

By the way, hope you did not invest in the Jim and Tammy Baker heaven on earth.

When is the last time you heard the televangelist   mention the seven politcally incorrect words.  Like the ugliness of sin, and to support your local church.

You know there is something about witnessing in the flesh the media just cannot match.

Preaching from a website is weird.  Preaching from the TV is weirder.

Okay, let us reason with ourselves.  Let me ask you a question  Do you see Christ in the televangelist?

Just something to chew on for you. Free and of no charge.

Psalms 101:1-8
1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing. 2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart. 3 I will set no wicked F290 thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

Anyway, this web page is about me and my family.  We certainly not perfect but through the grace of God we are.

Hebrews 5:12 (King James Version)
